Batman's going gray! Ben Affleck was seen out with his wife Jennifer Garner, and judging by his scruffy (yet still sexy!) graying beard, the split rumors dogging the couple could be taking their toll.
In a new photo from the Afflecks' Wednesday, June 10, outing near their home in L.A.'s Brentwood nabe, the Batman v Superman actor, 42, sported a puffy purple jacket and printed T-shirt, while his wife, 43, also went casual in a brown, pink, and gray striped coat and jeans.
The couple's toy shopping trip is just one of a handful of times the pair have put on a united front in public, defying rumors of an impending split. Unconfirmed reports claim that the duo are headed for a divorce, and have been spending time apart in recent weeks. Affleck and Garner's 10th wedding anniversary is coming up on June 29.
Though Affleck riled up suspicion of marital trouble during his 2013 Oscar speech by calling his relationship "work," Garner has said she doesn't mind being a stay-at-home mom while her husband's career takes off.
"Ben is super busy and I'm super happy for him," the Danny Collins actress told reporters in March. "I chose to stay home this year and just said, 'Go for it babe. Do it all. Do Gone Girl, do Batman, do The Accountant. Do everything.' I want that for him and I'm happy for him. And he says the same to me. Except that he's really busy. But he understands that when I really have to do it, we figure it out."
Garner recently told Us Weekly that her kids — Violet, 9, Seraphina, 6, and Samuel, 3 — are especially excited about daddy's latest role as the next Batman. "We definitely have been drinking the Batman Kool-Aid at our house," Garner joked with Us. "Yeah, we have one in particular who is pretty excited.”
