Drake Bell is sorry for his actions. The former Disney child star apologized to Caitlyn Jenner on Thursday, June 4, for making questionable statements about the former Olympian after her Vanity Fair cover debut.
"I sincerely apologize for my thoughtless insensitive remarks. I in no way meant to hurt or demean those going through a similar journey," Bell, 28, tweeted.
He continued: "Although my comments were made in innocence, I deeply regret the negative effect they've had on so many."

Earlier this week, the Drake & Josh alum was criticized for posting what many considered to be transphobic tweets about Jenner's transition from male to female. He deleted his comments hours later.
"Sorry...Still calling you Bruce," he wrote at the time. He clarified: "That's bravery! I'm not dissing him! I just don't want to forget his legacy! He is the greatest athlete of all time! Chill out!"
